Because this battery is dedicated to be used on HTC Desire Z, A9191, Tmobile G2. It is supposed to only be charged in the device battery slot but not any other stand alone OEM battery charger. The battery is embedded with chipset to signal the PDA for charing and act as a power gauage. If using other poor quality OEM battery charger, some of these charger will try to use jumper to short circuit the embedded protection chip in order to charge the battery. The short circuit can sometimes be an irresversible damage to the battery. As a conclusion, we do not suggest our users to use OEM desktop battery charger as it will put your battery product or even your PDA at risk!!
